In this entry I compare four public Cloud APIs (AWS EC2, GoGrid, Rackspace and Sun Cloud) to see what practical benefits REST provides for resource management protocols.

Even though Rackspace and Slicehost say everything is okay I'm still not able to see my servers in the AC, nor do my sites load. #rackspace

Rackspace down, Amazon down... Does anybody have a reliable cloud solution... (especially for their CDN)

@GeorgeReese Why Rackspace, and not GoGrid or OCCI or some other? Is it marketing/support from Rackspace, or an inherent advantage?

@joncaves Looks like the issue was troubles at @Rackspace, where our servers are hosted. Fixed now!

By the way, @slicehost (owned by @rackspace) is still up.
