@CharissaCowart Inkscape's Eraser tool is only available in the 0.47 version and above, currently in beta, but very stable.
@nsmjustinlong GIMP is a much better equivalent to Photoshop than Inkscape, but Inkscape /is/ a fantastic alternative to Illustrator. Cheers
