Originally from England but now resident in Canada, I'm reconnecting with my inner geek. Who knew that such a useless body of knowledge could one day spawn something so interesting?

And now the first draft of my novel is now complete! Joy of joys! More news on that soon :)

Reading, writing and geek pursuits such as the Interweb, sci-fi and blogging take up much of my time. Topics? These vary from TV (Joss Whedon and Battlestar Galactica are perennials) to films and from writing to web series such as The Guild.

So what's with the picture of a toy? Well, obviously a person in my position can't go around putting their face all over the Internet willy-nilly. Plus, I'm a bit shy.
