@straightalk I was thinking by using aliases in mysql, I could join a table to itself so I get that changing value in the same result set.

- I will be checking it out. I have a product database that updates daily. With each update the rank for a product can change. If it does, I want to know and have a number for the change. Then I can pick movers and shakers from the product list.
