I'm an American Expat happily living in The Kingdom of Thailand, the Land of Smiles.
In major cities and popular resort areas Thailand generally has good infrastructure, including high speed wireless Internet services. This makes blogging and working on the Internet from here quite easy.
You do have to have a certain amount of discipline, however, to not spend too much time on the beaches or get too involved with the interesting nightlife.)
I've lived in Asia for over 15 years. While I still cheer for the home team I do wish that the American government and politicians would revert to the sense of fair play and decency that made America great.
Leadership does matter in any collective human endeavor and good leadership at the highest levels of government is critical for the well being of the nation's citizens.
Let freedom ring but let it be a lot more than just a slogan.
