I am a wife and mother of two daughters ~ the first, Emma, was domestically adopted and we're in an open relationship with her maternal first familty ~ the second, Allison, was born to us.

I am a professional technical writer and I supervise my department. I've recently taken up FrameMaker and I love it!

I have suffered from Post-Partum depression and anxiety for the last two years, but am feeling so much better. Blogging has been a great help.

I would love to write a book someday. I currently read a great deal. I also enjoy scrapbooking and cross-stitch.

My favorite bands are U2, The Killers, R.E.M., Tori Amos, and KT Tunstall.

My favorite TV shows are Miami Ink, The Shield, and Guiding Light.
