Editor/writer living in Toronto with two cats & 2000 books. I write and post about my city, about books, and occasionally about important political matters.

For fun, I write anime fanfic and watch certain favourite anime series.

I also write articles on the business side of the anime industry, and have published articles on everything from scuba diving to the adoption of feral cats. I've also edited many types of materials: educational, art-related, historical, business.

In an ex-ex-EX-fundamentalist, and consider myself to have special insight into that sort of movement, since I was very deeply immersed for many years. That is the subject of one of my non-fiction books, currently in progress. I also have a YA fantasy novel and adult speculative fiction novel, circulating to agents.

I'd love to talk about doing editing or writing projects for others as well.
