I am a writer, storyteller, speaker, and theologian. I empower women who have been silenced and suppressed by a religious tradition. I believe the best way to do this is to tell the stories of the women in the Bible. I tell their stories on my blog, and other sites, as well as the book I am currently working on, Career Women of the Bible. I also speak about women in the Bible, religion, and spirituality.

For six years I was an assistant editor for the daily devotional, Reflecting God: Devotions for Holy Living, and then I was an associate editor for the adult Sunday School Curriculum line, Faith Connections. I have also written for various Christian publications including Christians for Biblical Equality's Mutuality and the youth magazine, Credo. I have developed and written newsletters for churches.

My pastoral experience includes assistant pastor for college/young adult ministry, associate pastor of adults, senior pastor, and missions work.
