Sangtar is a fusion artist. He has provided music for many Punjabi artists such as Manmohan Waris, Kamal Heer, Jazzy Bains, Debi Makhsoopuri etc. He is credited with creating new bhangra sound by adding traditional long lost instruments into the songs driven by solid dance beats. In his idle time he has started a blog to share his knowledge of Indian music with others. Sangtar runs a post production studio in Los Angeles, CA. The blog is administered by Amit Chauhan.
