ROCK IS DEAD. Nothing sets off my bullshit meter faster than this infamous proclamation, usually made by someone who’s sum total experience with rock and roll is American Idol or the local commercial rock station that votes Stairway to Heaven as “Song of the Year” every freakin’ year. The whole reason I started The Rock and Roll Report and Rock and Roll Report Radio is because there are thousands of bands, record labels, websites and radio shows that take serious offence to this misguided statement. If you believe that rock and roll is more than tattoos and cool shades, more than posing and trying to prove what a badass you are then welcome to The Rock and Roll Report friend.
