I love the Howth coast guard blog... but the rss feed needs rescuing (pun intended). Climbing blog looks great but I've got vertigo... nice photos though

Hi Robin, As you're a member of the Snipperoo MyBlogLog community, I wondered whether you'd like to try our widget manager out? Basically, you collect widgets by making modules and pasting the widget code into them. You can name and tag and note each module at any time. Mostly you copy your widget code as you normally would, but instead of pasting it directly into your site, you make a ‘module’ in Snipperoo which stores that widget. Then you make a Panel, which is your selection of widgets for your site, i.e. your sidebar set. You choose a size and add any widgets you have in your collection to this panel with one click. Then you can rearrange your widgets in this panel by dragging them up and down. You can see the Panel previewed as you do this. For your Panel you get one line of code which you paste into your template where your widgets go. Once you've done that, you don't have to go back to your template - when you update or change your Panel your site updates. You'll find it's very quick and easy - not just for adding widgets but for removing them - and for going back and using widgets you've used in the past. You can also make multiple Panels - i.e. you can use the same widgets in different places or have more than one panel on a page or whatever. I'm happy to help you get it sorted and up to speed. It makes adding and removing widgets to and from your site very easy and is good fun to use. We're rolling out a much better version in a few weeks - I'd also love to give you a preview of this soon.
