Research Interests:

I am trying to discover a new set of metrics for determining the linkages between Employee Volunteer Programs and a businesses profitability or productivity. With CSR being so popular right now, I am mystified by the lack of data to support it's effectiveness in achieving financial results.

I am a big fan of CSR, EVP's, Service Learning, Societal Marketing Concept and effective Sustainable Development. Any and all research in these areas is of great interest to me.

I have spent the last 18 years working in and with NPO's utilizing a model that elevates volunteerism from a task oriented experience to a transformative experience. The model is simple to understand and implement. It increases volunteer participation and retention exponentially. And the most fascinating outcome is that those volunteers become more invigorated and productive in their respective places of employment.
