I have more than eight years' experience in corporate and marketing communications management, web content management, communications project management, and public relations.

I'm the editor and founder of Oregon Minority Business, an online magazine that highlights the success stories of ethnic minority business and civic leaders. Recognizing the need to raise the profile and visibility of minority-owned businesses in Oregon, I launched this site in 2006.

I'm a writer by profession, and I create health newsletters for a living. I also engage in freelance projects for newsweeklies and magazines. I'm an avid student of photography, and while I started shooting strictly with film, I transitioned to digital in 2000.

I hold an MBA from the University of Portland and a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Houston.
