William White is the founder of Open Solar - an open directory of solar installations, businesses and the people who love them. Our goal is to promote transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing among people in the solar energy community.

Prior to starting Open Solar , William developed web applications for 9 years at Yahoo!, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Chevron and Seagate Technology. William holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from McGill University and studied Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics.
