I trained as a scientist (I have a first class honours degree and PhD in Chemistry, and did postdoctoral work at the University of Chicago). I moved into management and organisation development, with ICI, in 1974 after a period as research scientist, also with ICI.

I became a self-employed development consultant in 1982 and have extensive experience as a counsellor and coach. I work with individuals, teams, relationships between teams, and organisations in the private and public sector. I like helping senior people think about challenging issues about people and change.
