Newman is better known to his friends as Newman - His favourite word is "intrinsic", he uses this a lot when talking about his characters' thoughts. He has completed a course in Media. He worked in music publishing for three years and then worked in the beer business. He did not like the alcohol part as he felt his boss was a very dreary man. He moved to manage an art shop them, worked as a diesel broker, eventually he started to work in insurance. He has written three scripts, “Recluse” (which needs a new title), “Openback”, and “The Twilight Protocol”
