I'm a 38 yr old single girl in NYC who dates a lot. I started my blog so that I could share my honest thoughts and stories about dating (and if I'm lucky, relationships - oh please let me find one of those soon and I promise to work hard and not fuck it up). One of the reasons I did so is because I thought it was time to have someone writing the truth. There are a lot of funny dating blogs and plenty of sexually explicit blogs, but most of them are written by girls in their 20s or SATC wanna-bes. I thought I knew everything, too, when I was 21 or 28, but I didn't. At 38 I can definitely tell you I don't know a damn thing. I just promise to tell you the truth, to not sugar-coat it, and to be occasionally amusing. I'm guessing there are folks out there that'll be able to relate.
