During the course of this blogging adventure, I hope to re-discover my passion for writing. As a child and teen, I wrote short stories, books, poetry, blogs. It has faded as life intruded, and I hope to re-ignite that fire. Writing gives me a sense of peace. Blogging gives me a sense of community and belonging. I will always blog for you as much as I blog for me, because I want to provide you the opportunity to have a community as much as I would like it for myself.

I am blogging because I feel that I have something to say to the world, on my own terms, in my own time, with my own style. I will blog to chronicle the precious early years of my daughter (2 already) and my Sweetpea (born in late October). I am blogging because I can. I am blogging because it feels like an iMommy / iGeneration right of passage. I am blogging because I need something to help me gain perspective on my life. I am blogging because (hopefully) you are reading, commenting, thinking, and enjoying my blog.
