The Scholars Forum was created as a way to combat the academia apparatus arm of the Liberal movement. Education is one of my cornerstone values as I hold a bachelor's of science in Business Administration, a master's in Management and a second masters in Political Science and am working on a PhD in Public Affairs. I'm not your typical pencil pushing, pocket protecting wearing, egg headed academic geek. I've worked the last 14 years for a metropolitan fire department. In 2008 I was appointed Emergency Manager, which is opportune, since my PhD studies and research focuses on emergency management and local governance. I'm married to a wonderful and incredibly patient woman and have a 4 year old daughter and a one year old son. My political leanings are conservative but characterize myself as a contemporary mix of libertarian values infused with conservative oriented fiscal, foreign policy and national security principles- hence I'm a neo-pragmatic LiberCon©.
