Hello! My name is Matt Kelly. I am a 25-year-old radio/television broadcaster from Seattle, Washington. Starting at a young age, I knew that working in radio would be my dream profession. Sitting in my parents’ driveway, I played disc jockey for the neighborhood, broadcasting over my karaoke machine. This hobby grew into the construction of my home studio. At the age of 15, I took my first profession job as an intern for KSER 90.7 FM. Around my senior year of high school, I moved on to KRKO 1380 AM out of Everett, Washington. There I held my first paying job in the radio field as the Operations and Engineering Assistant. My two years at KRKO paved the way for a two-month stint covering for the KUOW 94.9 Operations Assistant, and another month as the station’s Engineering Assistant. I took my first major step in radio when I joined KLSY 92.5, now KQMV Movin’ 92.5. First hired as a programming assistant by Program Director, Barry McKay, I quickly proved myself enough to be promoted to mo
