Lahir dan dibesarkan di kota hujan Bogor, dari TK sampai SMA di Sekolah Kesatuan Bogor, lalu meneruskan ke Universitas Trisakti, Jurusan Teknik Telekomunikasi tahun 1978.

Hobi ‘kutak-katik' teknik elektronika, sudah bisa memperbaiki radio tabung sewaktu di kelas 6 SD, dan terus mempelajari elektronika secara intensif di SMP dan SMA, dibawah bimbingan almarhum Bapak Sofyan Wahab.

Sejak 1981 menggeluti komputer, mulai dari jamannya Sinclair ZX-81, Apple II+, sampai IBM PC, dan saat ini menjadi Direktur Teknik PT BoNet Utama Bogor, Batutulis Computer Bogor, PT Marvel Network Sistem Jakarta, PT Xtreme Network Sistem Samarinda.
