I am as adaptable as Darwin’s finches, yet grounded in my own values and self. I am as skeptical as a word processor’s grammar-check feature, yet rooted in a belief of innate altruism. I am as driven as an 80’s lorry, yet remain faithful to my family and culture first.
…or at least this is what I aspire to be as a lawyer and public servant.
I graduated from Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus in 2006 and am currently a full-time, Psychology and Political Science student at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. I plan to enter Law school next year with a focus on public interest and native rights law.
I currently serve as the Student Body President of the Associated Students of the University of Hawai‘i, and intern as a paralegal with the Affordable Attorney’s Project at the Legal Aid Society of Hawai‘i. I am also a co-founding executive for the Roots Rhythm Foundation 501c(3), a not-profit-organization currently dedicated to creating and enhancing music programs in Hawaii’s public schools.
