I have started doing virtual wine tastings on http: / / www. grapescott. com every saturday night. Think of it as book club for winos. The way it works is: I announce a wine-o-the-week on Monday... everybody runs out and gets a bottle. Then we convene on http: / / www. grapescott. com at the specified day/time. I post a review of the wine and everyone can use the chat widget to discuss what they like/dislike or whatever. A ratings widget to rank the wine, and the wordpress comments feature to log comments. The story they shot with me at Picchetti Winery (Cupertino, CA, USA) in mid-May will air at 9:30pm PST this Sunday on NBC11 (or shortly thereafter due to football post-game shows). The new server that we went to still can't house us, so we are working on an alternative solution.
