I'm a senior editor at Business 2.0, a Time Inc. magazine based in San Francisco that covers innovation in business.

Before coming to the magazine, I worked for about seven years at the San Jose Mercury News, where I spent most of my time as a business reporter covering technology and reviewing consumer products. My areas of focus included the PC industry, consumer software, wireless and mobile devices, and Web usability. While at the Merc, I also wrote and edited local news, launched the paper's blog and podcast strategy and directed real estate and personal finance coverage.

I came to the Mercury News from the Lexington (Ky.) Herald-Leader. But I'm from the East Coast.
