When clubbing in Hong Kong you could never missed or forget DJ JELLY JJ. JJ started his carrier in the beginning of 1986, since then his DJ-ing has taken him to lots of famous bars and clubs in and around east asia as resident or guest dj, jj was very much inspired by his mother a professional singer in Hong Kong .so rapping and adding vocals while mixing came as natural part of his program .In 1992 JJ joined the famous JULIANA’S group in Tokyo-Japan,and in 1994 he moved back to the Lostcity-The biggest clubs in Hong Kong, here ,jj was also being influenced by DJ ERIC HUI (DMC HK champion winner) adding scratching skills to his already accepted styles.In 1995 JJ started working in the china club scene and became a member of “Format”a Guangzhou based entertainment company But in 2003 he moved to “Free Nation”In all of his 20 years experince,JJ was the first dj in china to use vocal skills while mixing which have received much critical acclaim in
