I'm a middle-aged book junkie.

I'm in love with words, the way they sound alone, and in the company of other words.

I have one son, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

My day job is demanding and difficult, and I blog to relax and de-stress from my job.

I cannot be, nor do I want to be, your therapist, adviser, mother, lover, etc.

I want to be your blog friend, which means you get minimal support and full reciprocity on Twitter or on your blog.

I have a few blog friends that I am very close to, and this closeness has been forged over time, and is respectful of the need for privacy, both mine and theirs.
