Wow, where to start…

I was born on the Left Coast in 1970.

I developed an interest in computers in 1980, and got my first REAL computer in 1983 (Apple IIe). I used it to play Zork, Loderunner, Swashbuckler, and a host of other cutting-edge games. I took it apart within the first week, and it took me nearly two weeks to put it back together properly. Once I finished reassembling it, though, it worked just as it did the day it was purchased.

Thus began my lifelong love affair with computers and gadgets.

I’m the guy you have in your family who lives, eats, and breathes all things electronic; but I’m shaken…with a twist. I’ve lived a great deal of life in meatspace.

To wit:

* I’m a father of the World’s most adorable 6 year old EVER. Yes, EVAR!

* One hundred fifty-seven parachute jumps out of perfectly serviceable aircraft.

* Four years of Army service, two combat tours. My share of medals as a result.

* A nomad-like existance wandering between the Midwest, the West
