I am a 52-year old man who lives on the rocky coast of Maine. (Which, btw, is why I use the name friendinME.)

I am married, a father of 3 and a full-time pastor. I enjoy running, the beach, being with people, my Scottish Terrier, the Red Sox and Patriots... and I am finding blogging to be strangely fun and addictive.

I started posting "my pointless" blog to entertain my son and his co-workers each morning at his office in Philadelphia... but the scope is getting bigger. I like knowing that others are reading and that they might be amused and entertained a little. :) I am meeting some interesting people along the way, too.
