When I originally created the first version of MyVirtualPowerForum. com its mission was to focus on using Linkedin to help empower your network. In the 3 years since the group was formed, we've learned a lot about Linkedin and a lot about a lot of other things important to networkers - ranging from brand new networkers to some of the strongest networking leaders in all of social media. Also, in the past 3 years, Linkedin has become a true powerhouse in the world of professional networking. Yet, there are many, many, many, many more areas of social media which we're now just starting to touch on. So, we'll still talk about Linkedin a lot but, we'll also talk about a lot, lot more, too! MyVirtualPowerForum has spread out quite a bit over the past 3 years and works closely in conjunction with MyLinkingPowerForum. Ning.com (3,300 members) and for Facebook aficionados, there is a 1,500 member Facebook group located at MyLinkedinPowerForum .com Indeed, our key members are on every major social media platform on the Web and are actively creating other platforms. Lots of activity on MyBlogLog this week, eh? Nice to see Yahoo! is waking up and using MBL... In case you haven't seen it, I'm currently running a survey on Enterprise Findability (Search, Navigation, Foldering, Taxonomies, etc.) and would love your input, if you haven't already provided it. I'll extend the survey through the weekend, to allow for extra entries. See: http: / / www. biztechtalk. com/ 2008/ 04/ findability-sur. html for more detail BTW - what's in it for YOU? Random drawing, with a chance to win 1 of 25 gift certificates to Amazon.com is the most obvious. Beyond that, if you are interested in making your own information more findable in YOUR organization, the resulting research will be freely downloadable at the end of June. Your feedback via the survey will make it that much stronger. The survey is 59 questions, should take around 25 minutes to complete. Thanks in advance for your time!
Feature Alert! Find others you may know who are already kickin' it on MyBlogLog. Friender searches your friend lists across the web to suggest new contacts. http: / / mybloglog. com/ user/ friender - The MyBlogLog crew
Hello again BizTechTalking MyBlogLoggers... looking for feedback on our upcoming Findability survey. What would YOU like to know? What don't you care at all about, regarding search, taxonomy, information architecture, etc.? Weigh in at http: / / www. biztechtalk. com/ 2008/ 04/ put-on-your-fin. html Thanks in advance! Dan
