Careerwise:

On my way to becoming a best-selling author, I got sidetracked to the television business for 20 years. I edit and shoot video of other people's ideas to other people's specifications. It's about time I got out, got back on track and started writing again.

I never became a best-selling author, or even...an author at all. But hey, I'm only 40, right?
