Dave Delaney is a community enthusiast, new marketing professional and social media maven from Toronto now calling Nashville his home. He works in Griffin Technology's marketing department as social media coordinator.

Dave first connected online in the mid 1980's on local bulletin boards. In 2001, he created Spotted Galway, Ireland's first social networking site. He began blogging and podcastng in 2005 when he launched the first Canadian parenting podcast, Two Boobs and a Baby, which ran for three years.

Dave worked in marketing and promotions for Mirvish Productions, Canada’s largest theatre producers; Global Television; and Canada’s most read newspaper, the Toronto Star.

Delaney has been featured in articles in USA Today, Globe and Mail, Jackson Sun, Nashville Business Journal and Tennessean.

Since moving to Nashville in 2007, Dave co-founded the first BarCamp Nashville and PodCamp Nashville. In 2007, he started GeekBreakfast.org which continues monthly and has spawned intern
