Jason Chervokas is a journalist and entreprenuer living in New York. He co-founded the pioneering online news service @NY in 1995, co-wrote a weekly column for The New York Times on the Web, and served as a venture parter with Primedia Ventures, a corporate fund investing in media technology start-ups. He is currently editorial director for the Social Media Club, a membership organization for social media professionals, and an instructor in the Film & Media department at Hunter College. He is a alumnus of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism where he was awarded the Emily Genauer Prize in Arts Criticism for his writing on jazz.
