My passion is wrought iron gates. A fine art photographer of these, I am the author and photographer of the book "Opening the Gates of the Heart". This is a book of gate photographs and related prose that describes my journey through the gates of despair to joy and peace.

Born in Pennsylvania and raised in Ohio, I graduated from Kent State University in 1974 and moved to Colorado, where I practiced nursing and photography for twenty two years. Lured by my dreams to ocean sail, I moved to Northern California in 1996, where I currently pursue photography as a career.
