Lisa (Lively) Metzger. I am the keeper of our home, a help meet to Mark (a financial planner) and a Homeschool Mommy . My seven precious children are: Annalise (15 - adopted from Kazakhstan at 10), Kaitlyn (7), Ethan (6), Trey and Jake (5 & 3 - both adopted from MO 6/07), Julia (22 months) and Ella "Ellie" Grace (due in early October)! We also have 5 precious ones sitting at the feet of Jesus - a total of 12 blessings thus far!

I am a 2nd generation homeschool mom, meaning that I was a pioneer homeschooled child! I am enjoying carrying on our family's rich heritage of raising kids for Jesus, through homeschooling! Heritage Christian Academy is our homeschool and we live in a suburb of Charlotte, NC.

We are a "Quiverfull-Minded" family who lets God plan our family, instead of us. We are allowing the Lord to give us as many blessings (children) as He intends!
