I am a prospective adoptive mother looking to adopt from the foster care system with my husband. Racially I am Asian, hapa, or multiracial (Asian/white). Ethnically I am Japanese + Anglo-German-Southern. My husband is white and Irish-Polish-Kansas-Southern. Our future adoptive child(ren), given the demographics of Atlanta, will likely be black. Confused yet? My blog is about transracial adoption from an unusual point of view. As for my personality, I am stubborn and curious. My unedited resume would include waitressing, hash-slinging, bussing, teaching English, teaching Spanish, teaching literature, managing an office, graphic design, makeup artist, video editing, tech support and some other things I have probably forgotten. I dropped out of a PhD program but did successfully get an MBA. I just got married to a wonderful husband. I live in a little brick house with a little dog.
