Hi I'm Simon Barker (although I have been known to go by Zath or Zath78 here on the Internet) and I'm fairly new to this blogging thing, but am trying to learn as I go. You'll find that I'll be typically writing about computing, gaming, gadgets, some (good quality!) TV and movies and the odd bit of humour (well I try anyway) thrown in for good measure.
I'm based in the York area of the UK and have a keen interest in most forms of technology and perhaps appropriately (or I could just be a glutten for punishment!) I work as a System Administrator for an Oracle-based database system. Outside of my day-job I'm also a freelance IT consultant for local home and small business users building systems, correcting faults and providing training.
