Zack Highstreet is the pseudonym for a forty-year-old suburban man, ordinary in every way. He'd be unremarkable if you passed him on the sidewalk.

Zack earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism and a Masters in Information Systems. He has worked for local newspapers and in the Information Technology industry as programmer/analyst, database administrator and as a Technical Lead on many projects. He lives with his wife and children in a house behind a white picket fence in the middle of a quiet, safe Midwestern town.

He's busy trying to publish A Plague On Both Houses, which rose out his need for an answer to: "Why do they hate us so much?" He found the answer in the canonical texts of Islam: the Qur'an, the Ahadith and the Sirat Rasullah, or The Life of Mohammed. A Plague On Both Houses is his first novel and he'd like to live long enough to write another. He takes the lessons of Theo van Gogh and Salman Rushdie as serious as the next terrorist attack.
