I value many of the old traditions and attitudes and mourn their passing with a vengeance. If I am ever seen wearing a baseball cap then shoot me. If I'm wearing it backwards then shoot me twice. Life is for real hats, and real style.

My blog is for me to vent my spleen, confess my desires, and otherwise sound off. This could be about anything: Politics, People, Religion. Anyone who is easily offended might like to move right along. Feel free to try to disturb or question me, but please read some of my work before you go.

I'm a pipe smoking, curmudgeonly financial lecturer working throughout the UK. I write poetry, short stories, and I'm working on my first novel. I live in the South Cotswolds with my lovely wife, and I'm fortunate in that my two adult children also reside locally. In fact, I think one of them still lives with us, although I lose track.
