My name is Denise Griffitts. If you subscribe to any of my blogs or newsletters you already know that I am a passionate devotee of Wallace Wattles forgotten classic "The Science of Getting Rich". When a good friend of mine suggested a movie night with "The Secret" being the movie of choice, I agreed because she told me that it was based on The Science of Getting Rich. My friends know that getting me to sit down and watch a movie is almost an impossible task because, frankly, most of them are just appalling. All that being said, even though I had not yet heard of The Secret, I was quite interested to see what the movie had to present. I will tell you though, had I not already had a very solid grounding in The Science of Getting Rich, and was already conducting my life according to the principals outlined in that book, I may have dismissed it as new age nonsense.
