This is the story of my descent into heroin addiction and my recovery. But mostly its about the things that lead up to my addiction, the forces that lead me to choose this option to deal with my anxiety/pain. It also contains my musings about the nature of reality. I had several near death experiences from heroin overdoses, saw the light in the tunnel, watched as people revived my dead body, and snap I was back. These experiences lead me to wonder, about reincarnation, life after death and the meaning of life. It lead me to think that life is just a game like many authors before me have identified, and that with the advent of modern technology (computer games, virtual reality) it would be possible to live a life within a life. The universe is about cycles it has no bounds and so life, the seasons, the days, have no end point, matter cannot be destroyed it only changes form. Today we are creating a virtual world, and soon this will manifest in our lives.
