I am a working professional, and I live in South Florida. I worked hard in school throughout my life and, after graduate school, I landed a big company job.

The main problem with this career (like any any other job) is that it is based on a "salary." You go to work in the morning. You leave in the evening. Every two weeks, you receive your paycheck. You have to work in order to receive that paycheck. Thus, if you quit your job, you don't get your paycheck.

I think this can be a potentially miserable existence. Your access to money is controlled by someone else.

I would rather work 4 or 5 hours per week and control my own access to money. And my question is, Why can't I do that?

Obviously, a lot of people don't think this scenario is possible. I vehemently disagree. It certainly IS possible.

That is the purpose of this blog: to think of ways to attain passive income. Doing so will liberate us from dreaded "jobs."
