What to say. I've had a personal website up for nearly ten years now, and consider myself both a blogger, and at some level a photo-blogger. My research background is in video compression, and I'm pretty active in that area. I'm a principal engineer at CounterPath Solutions Inc, a voice over IP company in Vancouver, and supervise most of the media related components of their product suite. Some of the larger customers using our technology are AT&T (CallVantage), BT (Communicator), Cisco Systems, and Vonage.

In my spare time I read quite a bit, drink the odd beer, and try to take some photos from time to time.
