My name is Doug Meacham. I am a 23 year veteran of the retail consumer electronics industry, but my passion lies in the areas of Customer Experience, Innovation and Design.

I currently work for IBM as a consultant in their Retail Applications practice. Before that, I worked for Circuit City Stores where I held positions in IT Management and Innovation & Strategy development.

I was a leader in Circuit City's innovation efforts and was part of a special team assembled to develop a long-term strategic framework for Customer and Associate Experience. I am also responsible for launching Circuit City's entry into Second Life.

I began Blogging in April '06.
