I'm an Illinois girl and author of "The Passion Runs Through It," a collection of freestyle, contemporary poety...not that stuff we read in school but short pieces filled with the passions of everyday life. I also love to take photographs and could think of nothing better than to travel this wonderful country, capturing it in pictures and words. I wrote "the Passion Runs Through It" to remind myself and others that there are passions all around us...we just need to be wise enough to let them touch our lives.
