Ben Heine is a Belgian political illustrator, cartoonist and painter, born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, on 12 June, 1983. He has studied Communication and Journalism at Institut des Hautes Etudes des Communications Sociales, IHECS (Brussels) as well as Painting and Art History at Academie Royale des Beaux Arts de Bruxelles (Belgium) and at Hastings College of Arts and Technology (England).

He is mainly known for his cartoons against war and his pro-Palestinian activism.
