I started my blog in early 2007 not knowing how or what I wanted to do with it. As it has developed, most of my posts consist of me venting my sense of humor and or some political points of view on things that interest me. I am also slowly learning the blog technology and social conventions. The social interaction has been very slow and you sometimes feel you are writing to yourself. The experience and emotions have been revealing and only occasionally frustrating. I can see why some people can get caught up in having a blog and why some people stop maintaining one. It can be risky trying to be funny or serious in print because only the words and not the person provide the context. Not to worry though because I am doing this for myself even if someone does find my hiding place on the net.
