The boy left this morning to go back to Texas.  He ships out to Iraq in eleven days.  11 Days.  He will be manning a vehicle designed to detonate roadside bombs. My heart hurts.

I am one of those odd people who does not like chocolate chip cookies.  I don’t do semi-sweet chocolate.  Blechyuckpoo.  For years I would make Toll House cookie dough without the chips, spread it in a pan and bake it.  Love...
