In midweek I had the great pleasure of attending a tasting given by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society for invited whisky bloggers at their lovely premises in Queen Street in Edinburgh. While I had visited their original home in Leith on previous occasions...

Like the earlier tasting of Blair Athol, this Glenmorangie expression arrived via my father and a good friend who knows his tastes. The Tain distillery have been in the forefront of special finishes and this one uses Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks....
