I'm back. Back from two weeks of training my employer insisted I needed . I'd like to pretend the training was awful and rant about what a waste of time it was but overall it was pretty good and I guess it's sort of nice to be valued enough.

Over the weekend, we finally assembled the easel my mother bought our kids for Christmas. She'd brought it over several weeks before Christmas wanting my husband to reinforce the wood after she'd read a bunch of reviews online that said it falls.

Upon returning to work and recounting for all the sympathizing veteran mothers my daughter's first day of Kindergarten , everyone wanted to know how she liked it. Forget how I felt leaving her there. What did the kid think? Sheesh. You’d think...
