Tesla loves playing/reenacting preschool now. She plays the sensei while Dav and I are the kids. Just today, after we all got home, we played, and this is what we did: went to the classroom (her room) pretend washed our hands with her tricycle...

Believe it or not, I grew up as a dog person. My best soul mates were Becky and Jenny. I got cats in grad school since I lived where they wouldn't allow dogs but would allow cats. And I really enjoy living with non-human beings, so I got cats. I went.

Tesla's preschool, Nihonmachi Little Friends, had a cute Halloween parade through Japantown on Friday. Dav and I took time off from work, which I'm so glad we did as it really was the cutest thing ever. What I particularly loved was that the kids.
